Got something you’d like to see in the tester? This is the right place. Good topics include:
- New checks or probes you’d find useful (federation, client-server API, MatrixRTC, etc.)
- UI or UX improvements — how results are displayed, explained, or navigated
- Backend API or performance ideas
- Improvements to the statistics page or opt-in data collection
- Anything else that would make the tool more useful for server operators or developers
The forum is the preferred place for ideas. It allows for open discussion, community input, and iteration before anything gets built. GitHub issues are better suited for
confirmed bugs or tracking work already agreed on.
Before posting, have a quick look to see if someone has already suggested something similar - a +1 or additional context on an existing topic is more useful than a duplicate
